The project is an artistic exploration of a present in which images are created, consumed and forgotten in a matter of seconds. Whilst AI and digital tools produce stories and visual worlds in real time, this project deliberately takes a different approach: here, the images are assembled from numerous handcrafted individual elements.
The visuals work like still frames of unknown theater plays. Slow Fiction tells stories from a world shaped by people and technology. The question of what an image means today, how it is created and who tells its story is not a side note, but the very heart of the matter.
